Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Nomado Trails. By booking and using our self-drive or chauffeur-driven car rental services, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Eligibility

• Customers must be at least 21 years old to book a self-drive car.
• A valid driver’s license (held for at least 1 year) and a government-issued ID are required at the time of booking.
• International customers must provide a valid international driving permit and passport.

2. Booking & Payment

• Bookings must be made through our website, mobile app, or authorized partners.
• Payment must be made in full via the accepted online modes (credit/debit card, UPI, Razorpay, etc.).
• A security deposit may be applicable and will be refunded upon safe return of the vehicle.

3. Vehicle Pickup & Return

• Vehicles must be picked up and returned at the agreed time and location.
• Late returns beyond a 30-minute grace period may incur hourly or daily penalties.
• Fuel is not included in the rental unless explicitly stated. Return the vehicle with the same fuel level to avoid charges.

4. Driver Conduct & Usage Rules

• The vehicle must not be used:
• For racing, illegal activities, or sub-rental.
• Under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
• Outside of authorized geographic areas (state or international travel must be pre-approved).
• Any tolls, fines, or traffic violations are the sole responsibility of the customer.

5. Accidents & Damages

• In case of an accident, customers must:
• Notify Nomado Trails immediately.
• File a police report if required.
• Provide full cooperation in insurance claims.
• Minor damages may be adjusted from the security deposit. In case of negligence, the customer will be liable for the full cost of repairs.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

• Free cancellations up to 24 hours before pickup (unless specified otherwise).
• Cancellations within 24 hours may attract a cancellation fee (up to 50%).
• No-shows will result in 100% booking charge.

7. Breakdown Assistance

• 24x7 roadside assistance is provided in most serviceable areas.
• A replacement vehicle may be offered based on availability.

8. Liability Disclaimer

• Nomado Trails is not responsible for delays, weather disruptions, third-party actions, or customer negligence.
• We reserve the right to cancel bookings in cases of fraud, emergency, or vehicle unavailability.

9. Amendments to Terms

• We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on our website and will apply to all future bookings.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

• This agreement is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Pune, Maharashtra.
